Some people talk the talk. Dirt walks the walk. Dirt grabs food sovereignty by the balls and doesn’t let go. Dirt fishes St. Lawrence sturgeon because St. Lawrence sturgeon are Mohawk sturgeon. He’s refined a system that enables him to harvest, process and prepare smoked and candied sturgeon that he’s become famous for.

Though he at first comes off as gruff, he’s an incredibly smart and passionate provider, a loving father, and a fighter – not only for his community, but for all Indigenous people.
