Charlie Sark grew up right here on this bay side property in the heart of Lennox Island. As a child, he’d gather oysters from the water right in front of his home. An entrepreneur and lobbyist, Charlie decided mid-career that he wanted food to be a part of his life, and went to Chef’s School. Combining his political experience with his love of food and a passion for the ingredients that come from his home, he has become what he calls “Canada’s Indigenous Food Lobbyist”. He owns a restaurant on Lennox Island and is planning to open a second one- a seafood tasting bar- right here on the front porch of the house he grew up in.
