Chef Rich and the Wild Game crew knew only one thing for certain when they arrived at the beach on this day: The mission was to cook under the sand. And guess who forgot a shovel. ☺ This day was one of the hottest days of the summer- it reached 34 degrees in the middle of the day, and there were 4 fires burning on top of that. It took 2 hours to get all the supplies from the vans down to the beach and get ready to start filming. They filmed the cooking and serving for 7 hours, and the clean-up took almost 3 hours. In the end, everyone was completely exhausted, but all felt like they had accomplished something truly incredible. Just another day at the office.
