Gooseberry Cove is a wild stretch of rocky coastline in the south-east of Cape Breton. It’s an access point for some incredible hiking but it’s kind of a locally kept secret. Chef Rich Francis found this place to be an inspiring place to cook, and several foraged items- sea plants and coastal berries and shrubs- found their way into his dishes here.
